Standards Development – PPI Group is a leading advocate of quality standards and an active participant in national forums and discussions with ABCB Committee, WELS Advisory Group, Standards Australia, World Plumbing Council, on major issues which impact on the members operating environment including:
- National Construction Code/Plumbing Code of Australia
- Standards Australia
- Standards Development Public Portal
- Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) Scheme
- WaterMark Certification Scheme
Lobbying – PPI Group has developed an important relationship with the current Australian Government and several state jurisdictions and will continue to ensure we are heard as an industry group and are where we need to be to deliver real outcomes for our membership.
Document accessibility – As a member of the PPI Group you will receive a login portal to access important and confidential documents, board papers, discussion- and submission papers, regarding i.e. WaterMark Point of Sale Feasibility, WELS Review, Standards Australia, IGA Inter Government Agreement), and Plumbing Codes Committee.
Collaboration – PPI Group forges and improves relationships and is open to strategic and collaborative initiatives.
Accreditation & Certification – PPI Group promotes and encourages a method of industry accreditation and certification for products manufactured, imported or distributed that is recognised by, acceptable to and overviewed by regulatory bodies and organisations globally with a focus on both WaterMark Certification and WELS.
Special Interest Groups – Members participate within the Special Interest Groups to ensure a collaborative framework is implemented to deliver specific and real outcomes for the following sectors:
- Taps valves showers
- Sanitary ware
- Vacuum drainage systems
- Cabs and Labs
