MoU with Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (USA)
In October 2007 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (USA) (PMI) and the PPI Group will be signed for the continued development of the Plumbing Industry through communication and cooperation at the PMI Conference in Washington by our Vice President, Mr Tim Fisher and the Executive Director of PMI Ms Barbara Higgens.
The purpose of this MOU is to provide a mechanism for cooperation between the Associations through a voluntary exchange of information on common educational, technical, scientific, legislative and regulatory matters that affect the plumbing products industries globally.
The Associations intend to create an organised and systematic approach for a sharing of information between our respective organisations on the above topics through the exchange of publications, memorandums and materials from their individual association endeavours as well as from an exchange of learning from association conferences, educational forums, industry meetings, exhibitions, seminars, site visits and other related undertakings sponsored or attended by each of the Parties.
When signed, the MoU will be available on the website.
