The next PPI Group General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22nd August 2018 at the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board premises 8th Floor, 70 The Terrace, Wellington, New Zealand.
The meeting agenda and minutes of the previous meeting will be emailed and available in the PPI Group Members area, once the program for the day has been confirmed.
Invitations have been issued to the following to attend and speak;
- Hon Jenny Salesa, New Zealand Minister of Building and Construction and Ethnic Communities, Associate Minister of Education, Health, Housing and Urban Development.
- Dr Carol Grossman, Director, Water Efficiency and Labelling Section (WELS) addressing key issues with respect to WELS
- Brett Lovett, Senior Manager in Strategic Engagement, Leadership, Advocacy, and Business Transformation, Standards Australia.
Current updates will be provided on the lead in plumbing products and material review headed up by Professor Mark Taylor, Macquarie University, point of sale for the WaterMark Scheme, development of an international standard for water efficiency.
This will be an important meeting and opportunity and a first for the PPI Group in venturing across the “ditch” to New Zealand.
